Society vs. Sexuality

Here's something i posted to an old blog 11 feb. 2008;

I'm writing a analysis paper on the writings of Allen Ginsberg, a man of much dispute. Drug loving, world traveling, Buddhist/Jewish, provocative, and gay, to list a few amongst many  "faults" the media, and many Americans in general found in him. His writing pieces were usually graphic, obscene, involving homosexuality, or at any rate, against what American Culture stood for at the time period (1900's).
Though I loath writing papers on people, or analyzing literature, Allen Ginsberg has proven himself to be very intriguing...Indeed a man who has caused me to think quite hard tonight...the subject i would like to discus is homosexuality.

So I'd like to start by saying statistic say that around 10% of people, or a lil shy of, are gay or lesbian. (Oh might i mention that I once herd someone say (cant remember who) that they thought everyone is a little bisexual...whether that means you judge the looks of the same sex , fantasize about them or mess with them. I think i maybe MAYBE agree with that. I have to think on that a bit more..i've been thinking on that thought for maybe 2 years though)
Anyways back on subject..I was thinking to myself..if 90% of people are straight (provided we believe statistics) what percent of those 90% are actually truly and positively straight? What percentage is just following media and today culture? (Guys, i would feel pretty shitty if i really was like lesbian and I was jus following society, because then I'd feel like i was a STUPID FUCKING SHEEP..u know..like the ones that dont think and let other people determine who they are.) So are a lot of us really homosexual and we've just coned ourselves into believe we're heterosexual? Or can u be, and truely be, whatever u set ur mind to? Does believing u are something, make it true? Can I truly believe with my whole heart that I am shaman (a religion), and then be shaman? Shit guys, I wanna be ME, not some stupid product of culture and media...am I me? Or am I being fooled? Are we all? Or is love just a fantasy that we decided we belive in? (No i dont think so) Does it matter if they have a dick or a pussy?? You can suck on both...(although, id rather choose the dick. It just seems easier...) I mean, i dont think sex would be a big deal, but society built it up and set it on a forbidden shrine. Young kids then go flocking to it...and get shamed for curosity, lust and love..and guys I think society is a mess. Though this is not 2 say i would have sex with just anyone..because I, like so many others (provided my theory is correct), am a blind stupid fucking sheep when it comes to the sex subject and I belive it to be an important decision and a big deal. Though i know people who throw sex around and dont think its a big deal..and they're ok..i mean in my opinion they arent corrupt..theyre jus people like u and me..if u belive it to be truly true..is it true??
So back to the sexuality..what if REALLY its 50 homo and 50 hetero..its like..your either a girl or a boy, whatever, and your gay or your not gay, whatever..what if its like that? I think i'd like a society like that..I really would. And idk what the big deal is about homosexual people, theyre human too. Marriage and sex and dating and all that..its about how u FEEL..not..idk your sex. (Call me liberal.) So. If a time machine was invented i would go back to cavemen age and see if I can find men humping men and girls eating girls out.. see what gender meant to them..see how it was b4 societies views kicked in and gods unending gaze reached us all..and maybe then I can find the truth about sexual orientation and sex.
Until then I'm off 2 bed..
And please, anyone with opinions who reads this...agreeing or disagreeing..i wanna hear them so message/comment me..but no bullshit stuff okay? Thoughtful stuff? Thanks.

One last quick thought? Honestly guys..i think societies messed up..
Next i think i might write about the American Standards of Living vs. Other Countries. Like for instance..how many mascara tubes does and average girl own? I think Ill start to poll.
